Ella celebrated her 1-week birthday today! She is doing great, as usual. Mommy and Daddy spent a couple hours with her this evening. Here are a few noteworthy comments/observations/updates from our visit. 1. Ella gained another ounce and is up to 1 lb. 12 oz. Her skin color is improving every day.
2. Daddy gave his baby girl Kangaroo Care for about 45 minutes tonight. See the beautiful video posted below.
3. Ella had one heart rate drop tonight, which caused Daddy's heart rate to drop even lower.
4. The Ronald McDonald House has an amazing lounge area for the NICU parents.
5. Mommy loves percocet.
