Her weight continues to increase, 1 lb., 13 oz. today. The nurses plan to double her food intake tomorrow from approx 1/2 teaspoon of milk every 3 hours, to a full teaspoon. She's growing fast!
Dad returned to work and is juggling the stress of Ella's heart rate drops and audit filing deadlines. Hopefully he finds a comfortable balance soon.
We've heard lots of great feedback about this blog - glad to know Ella has so many fans and that this blog is effectively keeping everyone informed of her progress.
she definitely is my niece! she's already learned one of my endearing tricks...sucking her lil thumb!
