Day 5 - Daddy gets to hold Ella

Great day today! I got to hold Ella for about 45 minutes. Although she had two heart drops while holding her - which scared me to death. She made these awesome little pathetic cries too. The Dr. says she is a star little patient. Her jaundice levels are dropping and they hope to have her off the blue light by Wednesday. She is still losing some weight, which is expected through the first week. She is down to 1 lb. and 9.25 ounces. She is starting to digest her food though. She is also on 3 hours of CPAP, then 3 hours on the nose prongs/canula, for the next few days. So that is good too!
